Please take a few minutes to read these few guidelines to help you navigate through the pages on this site.

The site is divided into three parts, a history of these families that merged in 1939. You can decide which family history to view by using the colour coded boxes at the bottom of each page, black/yellow for O'Rourke, white/blue for Rundle, and red/silver for  Byrne similar to those at the top of this page.

You can return to this page at all times by clicking on the first box on the bottom-left on each page, then you can go through the other family history. On each page you will have the opportunity to send an E-Mail to me, with comments, corrections or contributions. 
These pages touch on many other families because of marriages, therefore other names spawn new sites such as The Byrnes of Wicklow, The Gilbrides of  Leitrim , The Flynns, The Morans, The Costelloes, and The Shanleys also from Leitrim.
The histories of all the families are being updated and I would invite you to add your bit so that we can have a full, up-to-date story. In particular, photographs would be welcome ! Since the inception of this site in 2005, a lot of people have joined in the spirit of things and have contributed with information and photographs. Thank you one and all.
